Das MXS 5.0 besitzt eine automatische Temperaturkompensation, um auch unter extremen Bedingungen die beste Ladeleistung zu erreichen.
Das MXS 5.0 ist ein hochentwickeltes mikroprozessorgesteuertes Batterieladegerät, das beim Laden von Blei-Säure-Batterien zwischen 1,2 und 110 Ah unerreichte Leistung bietet. Es besitzt eine integrierte automatische Temperaturkompensation, um auch unter extremsten Bedingungen die beste Ladeleistung zu erreichen. Das MXS 5.0 besitzt darüber hinaus eine Batteriediagnose, die feststellt, ob die Batterie Ladung aufnehmen und halten kann, ein patentiertes automatisches Entsulfatierungsprogramm, eine AGM-Option zur Maximierung der Lebensdauer der meisten Start/Stopp-Batterien sowie einen speziellen Recond-Modus zur Rekonditionierung tiefentladener Batterien. Beim MXS 5.0 kommt das von CTEK patentierte Float/Pulse-System zum Einsatz. Dies ist der effizienteste Erhaltungslademodus, wenn eine Batterie für längere Zeit am Ladegerät angeschlossen bleibt.
